Our half day interactive visitor experience transformation workshops are run with frontline staff, senior management teams, board members and trustees of organisations we work with.  We base our workshops on 25 years of in-depth of consultancy and advisory work in the visitor experience and tourism sectors alongside over 20 years of operational experience of managing and developing a range of visitor attractions and other tourism / leisure businesses.   We also have access to the senior management at these attractions and leisure businesses.

Following each workshop a summary is circulated to all participants.

Currently there are four areas of focus:

1. Identifying and agreeing a future vision for your workshop
2. Income generation workshop
3. Identifying and prioritising key market segments workshop
4. Identifying and evaluating opportunities to prioritise future income generating initiatives workshop

Workshop facilitators

Workshop are lead by Kevin Brown Managing Director of Planning Solutions Consulting Limited,  Kevin has been working in the visitor attraction and tourism sectors for over 30 years, orginally starting his career with the former South East of England Tourist Board.  He is supported by his co-director Richard Linington, who has been working in the visitor experience and tourism sectors for over 20 years.  Alongside his consultancy work he managed and implemented the marketing strategy for CONKERS for 15 years.

Venues 

We work across England, Wales and Scotland and are happy to travel to your venue.  An alternative is we could host the workshop at one of the four attractions managed by our sister company.  Either at CONKERS (Derbyshire), Cotswolds Country Park and Beach (Gloucestershire),  the National Brewery Centre (Staffordshire) or Kent Life Heritage Farm Park (Kent).   As part of the workshop experience we can include a behind the scenes tour of the attraction.
