Client: Friends of Bennerley Viaduct
Funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund Planning Solutions Consulting was commissioned to co-produce a business plan for Bennerley Viaduct, which is the longest of only two surviving Victorian “lattice work” wrought iron railway viaducts in the UK. The viaduct is grade 2* list and is approximately 400 metres in length. The viaduct is located in the Erewash Valley, in between the Erewash Canal and Nottingham Canal. PSC’s work focussed on carrying out site review, market assessment, advising on the use of staff and volunteers, preparing the financial model and carrying out a risk assessment.
