Heritage Visitor Centre Business Plan

Client: Friends of Bennerley Viaduct
Funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, Planning Solutions Consulting was commissioned to co-produce a business plan for Bennerley Viaduct, which is the longest of only two surviving Victorian “lattice work” wrought iron railway viaducts in the UK. The viaduct is Grade II* listed and is approximately 400 metres long. The viaduct is located in the Erewash Valley, between the Erewash Canal and Nottingham Canal. PSC’s work focused on carrying out a site review, market assessment, advising on the use of staff and volunteers, preparing the financial model, and carrying out a risk assessment.
