Visitor Centre Resilience PlanningClient: Peak District National Park Authority
Planning Consulting Limited has been commissioned by the Peak District National Park Authority to carry out a review of the four visitor centres and bike hire operations which the National Park Authority manages. The work is focussed on financial resilience planning. The Peak District National Park was the first National Park designated in the UK, in 1951 under the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949. At some 555 square miles, the Peak District covers parts of Derbyshire, Cheshire, Staffordshire, Yorkshire and Greater Manchester and generates some 13 million visits per annum.
