Working as Visitor Attraction Consultants we assist a range of clients in the visitor attractions sector – including heritage operations, museums, visitor centres, castles, forest parks, mountain biking centres, country parks, National Parks, nature reserves and farm parks.

We help assess development options and income generating opportunities, we also prepare business plans, marketing action plans and visitor experience masterplans.

Some of the clients we work with include: Hampshire County Council, Hartlepool Borough Council, the Sussex Wildlife Trust,  Historic Environment Scotland, Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority, Natural England, Forestry England and Natural Resources Wales.

What makes us different to other visitor attraction consultants?
Since 1995 our sister company Planning Solutions Limited, has invested in, developed and manages a number visitor attractions and other tourism businesses. These include CONKERS (a £19 million day visitor attraction in the National Forest), Cotswold Country Park and Beach (a watersport activity and inland beach with a visitor centre in the Cotswolds), Kent Life (a heritage farm park in Maidstone), Vertigo Adventures (three branded high ropes experiences) and the Heritage Brewing Company (a brewery in Burton upon Trent) and a 65-bed hotel on the Isle of Wight.  From 2010 to 2022 they also managed the National Brewery Centre (the former Bass Museum in Burton upon Trent).

We have found that this practical operational experience helps to create a significant positive impact when working on visitor attraction (and other tourism) projects and brings a strong commercial realism to projects.  

We understand the challenges faced by the visitor attraction, heritage and leisure sectors and how to create and cost effectively promote visitor experiences which are commercially viable, meet the needs of the community and tourist and markets and address other needs such as education, lifelong learning and healthy living.
