Planning Solutions Consulting Limited has been commissioned by the Elan Valley Trust to carry out a feasibility study to assess sustainable future visitor accommodation uses of Cwm Clyd Farmstead, which currently offers a bunkhouse style of accommodation in the Long House and Cart Shed alongside a central Barn with a kitchen area and social space.

The Elan Valley Trust is responsible for managing the majority of the 72 square mile Estate as Landlord to 28 farms and 19 residential properties, farming eight blocks of in hand land (totalling in excess of 7,000 acres), public facilities, holiday cottages, Cwm Clyd Farmstead and estate maintenance in the Elan and Claerwen Valleys.
