Staunton Farm Visitor Attraction Feasibility Study
Client: Hampshire County Council
As part of the Hampshire County Council Transformation Programme, we carried out a review of Staunton Farm, a farm park visitor attraction, to assess investment needs and identify ways to improve operational performance and enhance the farm visitor attraction. Our work has been used to underpin the future investment programme across five country parks, Titchfield Haven NNR and two farm attractions managed by Hampshire County Council.
The feasibility study included: An individual site review of Staunton Farm to identify constraints and opportunities, an operational review and financial analysis to identify the baseline position; stakeholder and staff consultation; a programme of visitor research to identify visitors’ needs; assessing a number of case examples to identify best practice; carrying out a detailed market assessment including demographic profiling and a review of the tourism market place; and preparing an action plan.
