Sea Cadets Feasibility Study, December 2025

Client: Bridgend County Borough Council and the Resilient Communities Team (Reach)
Hiraeth Architecture and Planning Solutions Consulting have been commissioned by Bridgend County Borough Council to carry out a feasibility study to evaluate the opportunity of integrating Porthcawl Sea Cadets at an existing site which is home to 2117 (Porthcawl & Kenfig Hill) RAF Air Cadets and Porthcawl Detachment Army Cadet Force. Since 1963 the Porthcawl Sea Cadets have provided a variety of activities and adventures, for young people, centred on teamwork, respect, loyalty, self-confidence, commitment, self-discipline and honesty. The project has received funding from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
