Peatland Restoration and Reafforestation – Recreation Management Plan, July 2026

Working as sub-consultants to Duncan Bryden Associates, we have been commissioned to prepare a Recreation Management Plan to support a peatland restoration and reafforestation scheme which covers over 14,000 acres of land. The Plan will examine how existing paths, access points, visitor infrastructure, and visitor activities can be maintained and integrated into the restoration programme. The plan will need to balance the needs of the landowner, visitors, local communities and ecological objectives of the restoration project.
