Following on from earlier feasibility work, we are working with the Council to up-date and refresh the original study to define and structure a preferred development for a beach club / watersports hub facility, which has appeal amongst both local users and clubs and the wider visitor market. Our work has included assessing the policy context, market demand and undertaking primary research to identify local operator interest. The preferred scheme includes a beach club to accommodate a range of non-motorised water sports, children’s activity zone and ten waterfront accommodation pods as well as associated car parking. As well as preparing the development cost, our work includes a financial model to assess income and expenditure projections.
