Ramsgate Water Sports Feasibility Study

Client: Thanet District Council
Building on our earlier feasibility work, we are working with the Council to update the original study and define a preferred development for a beach club/water sports hub that appeals to local users and clubs, as well as the wider visitor market. Our work has included assessing the policy context and market demand, and undertaking primary research to identify local operator interest. The preferred scheme includes a beach club to accommodate a range of non-motorised water sports, a children’s activity zone, ten waterfront accommodation pods, and associated car parking. Our work includes a financial model to assess income and expenditure projections.
