Pleasley Visitor Hub Destination Feasibility Study, June 2020

Client: Derbyshire County Council

The wider tourism destination development programme is based around developing the visitor economy within an area roughly bordered by Chesterfield, Worksop and Mansfield. Our work is focussed on testing the proposition to develop the Pleasley ‘hub’ as a sustainable tourism destination, which is underpinned by the areas heritage assets, local environment and cycling as a zero-carbon leisure activity. The destination feasibility study will provide an evidence based approach to future development, identifying what actions need to be taken in order to create sustainable tourism growth.
