The Vale of Glamorgan Council commission Planning Solutions Consulting to carry out a feasibility study into viable commercial opportunities related to the outdoor activity marketplace.  The commercial feasibility study identified and assessed the outdoor activities that would enhance the development of tourism at three points on the Glamorgan Heritage Coast.  Our work focussed on assessing the latest outdoor activity trend data and background information on current visitor levels.  This also included reviewing the competitive landscape to identify gaps in the outdoor activity tourism market place.  We identified proposals that added value to the visitor economy and created jobs.  The wider study also assessed opportunities for events and other commercial facilities.
