Newbridge Fields Feasibility Study

Client: Bridgend County Borough Council
Newbridge Fields is considered as a Major Park of strategic and community importance by Bridgend County Borough Council.

Planning Solutions Consulting Limited was commissioned to carry out a feasibility study to identify and evaluate the options to restore and improve the northern area of the park (Newbridge North) as a vibrant, inclusive and sustainable space. Although contracted by the Resilient Communities Team within BCBC, the project is driven by the Community Asset Transfer Team, Bridgend Sports RFC, Bridgend Athletics Club and Bridgend Municipal Bowls Club, with all three clubs being based at Newbridge North.

The project has received funding from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
