Working in a multidisciplinary team, led by TEP, Planning Solutions Consulting was commissioned to produce a business plan for Longford Park to support an application to the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Longford Park is located to the south of Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Manchester. The park has a rich history, which has strong links to John Rylands, the leading industrialist and philanthropist who acquired the estate in 1855. The business plan has helped to support a successful application to National Lottery Heritage Fund and secure over £3m in funding, which alongside other funding will see the restoration and development of Longford Park. The plans include developing a learning, training and volunteering hub in the long barn and enhancing the recreational facilities, redesigning features such as the former Longford Hall site and gardens alongside new footpaths, seating and lighting.
