The Kent Mining Museum tells the story of coal mining in the region—its people, history, and legacy. The museum is located within Betteshanger Country Park. The museum shop serves a wide audience including families, school groups, heritage tourists and local visitors. The museum’s retail offer is focussed on mining-themed books, toys, souvenirs, fossils, mineral specimens and locally crafted items
