Both Kevin Brown and Richard Linington presented at the Park Conference 2018 – Funding and Value: Parks and countryside solutions for 2020.  The conference was timely and important conference as it explored the issues of valuation, generating earned income at parks service delivery models and commercial funding for parks. Local authority budgets face increasing pressure alongside parks and countryside departments having already absorbed cuts in core funding this conference explored candidly the different responses to this challenge and aimed for delegates to find practical, workable solutions.
