As part of a large project team, PSC was commissioned by Pembrokeshire County Council to support a bid to the Levelling Up Fund with a key focus on Haverfordwest Castle and the town centre. Haverfordwest Castle is a Scheduled Ancient Monument and a Grade I listed building and within the castle site, The Governor’s House and the Former County Gaol are both listed Grade II buildings. The Levelling Up Fund application was successful and secured £17.7 million in funding. Previously, we had prepared the original feasibility study to transform Haverfordwest Castle into a flagship heritage attraction.
