Farley Mount Country Park is located to the West of Winchester and incorporates a Local Nature, a SSSI, SINC and Farley Mount Monument. Recreational usage is increasing from mountain biking through to walking, running and dog walking.

Planning Solutions Consulting Limited was commissioned to carry out a feasibility study to identify and evaluate future development options to manage recreational pressures alongside enhancing the visitor experience. The feasibility study involved carrying out a baseline review of the current operation, assessing the strategic context, engaging with a range of stakeholders, carrying out a module of primary research among visitors, a market review and identifying and assessing a range of development scenarios for Farley Mount Country Park.
