Client: Epping Forest Heritage Trust
Epping Forest, described by Queen Victoria as the ‘People’s Forest’ in 1882, is London’s largest open space. The Forest covers 6,000 acres, stretching from East London’s Manor Park to Epping in Essex. For over 90 years, alongside the Conservators (City of London Corporation), only two pivotal Forest-wide organisations have spoken on behalf of the entire Forest and its users through dedicated community action – the Friends of Epping Forest (1969) and The Epping Forest Centenary Trust (1978). In April 2018, these two organisations merged together for a mutual desire for growth, resource integration, stability and future endeavours to create a new organisation Epping Forest Heritage Trust. The Trust manages Epping Forest Visitor Centre at High Beach and they work with variety of adults and young people and deliver a range of activities. Planning Solutions Consulting Limited has been appointed to work Epping Forest Heritage Trust to identify and evaluate new income generating opportunities for Epping Forest Visitor Centre at High Beach.
