Darwen is a gateway to the West Pennine Moors, heritage features like the Jubilee Tower, alongside the town parks and open spaces within Darwen all of which attract a range of users. The outdoors and recreational tourist town proposition of Destination Darwen project (part of the Town Deal) aims to improve the quality and connectivity of these assets using very clear trail proposals.
