Cotswolds Tourist Accommodation Market Demand Assessment and Options Appraisal

Working with a private client, we were commissioned to carry out a market demand assessment and options appraisal to support the development of appropriate tourist accommodation in the Cotswolds.   The market demand assessment included an analysis of the residential population base living within specific drivetime catchments, an overview of the tourism market and a commentary on the competitive landscape.  The work was supported by a programme of engagement alongside a commentary on the wider tourist accommodation products operating within the UK market place.   A visitor accommodation options appraisal identified a range of different types of tourist accommodation and a weighted scoring matrix was used to evaluate the different accommodation options.
