Commercial review of two country parks

Working for a local authority, we were commissioned to carry out a commercial review of two destination country parks. With increasing budgetary pressures, a key objective was to enhance existing revenue streams and identify and evaluate new commercial opportunities. A range of different options for each country park were assessed. For each option, a description was provided along with a reference example; the capital investment was identified, with commentary on project delivery and risk. The strengths and weaknesses of the individual options were identified. The key outcome was a prioritised list of commercial opportunities that could be delivered in the short- to medium-term.
