Project – Business Planning for the Big Parks Project
“PSCL were appointed to lead the business planning process for a new 30 acre innovative park in Peacehaven, East Sussex, known as The Big Parks Project. The project involves the creation of a new park on 30 acres of land given by Southern Water along with improvements to the existing adjacent sports park.

Working alongside Lewes District Council, other stakeholders and the design team, PSCL built on the extensive public consultation work and evaluated the multiple commercial leisure components including recreational sports, play, cycling and other informal outdoor leisure. Their work included carrying out a market assessment and financial review with a detailed analysis of income generation potential, including the main visitor hub facility. They then produced a preferred operating and agreed management route as part of the business planning appraisal work, which the Council are taking forward.

PSCL worked with Lewes District Council in a very hands-on way, regularly attended meetings at short notice and presented their findings in a concise and logical way.
