Working for a local authority we have been appointed to carry out a module of primary research to help support a planning application in respect of car parking at a country park. This will involve developing a questionnaire to collect data from 30 to 40 country parks and other countryside recreation sites to help build the evidence base by identifying the number of car parking spaces (permanent and overflow) against visitor numbers. The data will be analysed to identify the ratios of car parking spaces in relation to current usage.
