Cadw, has announced £5m of investment to ensure Cearphilly Castle remains a world-class visitor attraction. Investment will be targeted at conservation, improving site access and the introduction of new interpretation. A visitor centre will provide a catering offer and education space. The Great Hall built in the 13th century and the largest in the UK will be redecorated to reflect the splendour of medieval times.
