Planning Solutions Consulting has been commissioned to carry out a module of research to identify accommodation needs to support the sustainable development of activity tourism within the County Borough with a particular focus on surfing, other watersports, mountain biking and cycling. The County Borough Council secured funding to develop the successful Rest Bay Watersports Centre with a café / bistro, which opened in 2019.
