Both Kevin Brown and Richard Linington presented at the Park Conference 2018 – Funding and Value: Parks and countryside solutions for 2020.
The conference was timely and important conference as it explored the issues of valuation, parks service models and commercial funding for parks. With local authority central Government funding due to be halted for many by 2020, there is increasing pressure on all council services. Parks and countryside departments have already absorbed huge cuts. This conference explored candidly the different responses to this challenge and aimed for delegates to find practical, workable solutions.
