Client: Farming Wildlife Advisory Group

Working with Resources for Change we completed a Heritage Lottery Fund Audience Development plan for the final 2.5km of the River Lambourn as it flows through Newbury, Berkshire. The plans will support a bid in the region of £1 million to the Heritage Lottery Fund.

A key aim of the work with the Pang, Kennet & Lambourn Valley Countryside Project was to carry out consultation which leads to increased community involvement and which leaves a good legacy in terms of improved and ongoing communication with the local community about the river. We also assisted with developing new products to engage with audiences and carried out visitor survey.
