OperationsConkers Visitor Attraction, Heart of the National Forest, Leicestershire
The Visitor Centre, the first phase of the project, opened in March 1999 and was developed by a partnership involving the District and County Councils as well as the Rural Development Commission and The National Forest Company, funded predominantly through Rural Challenge and Rechar programmes. Conkers the second phase of the development, gained Millennium Commission funding and PSL played a major role in shaping the mix and configuration and formed an integral part of the Millennium project bid. Planning Solutions Limited have operational responsibility for this holiday village from the day-to-day management through to strategic development and marketing. There are 180 letting accommodation units along with extensive leisure facilities. Leisure facilities include 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor pool with separate spa bath, squash courts, gym, and sports hall with twin badminton courts. In terms of catering and entertainment there is a members’ lounge area, large capacity kitchens, dining room, bars and cabaret club, a café and bar. Harry Ramsden's, Brighton
Peckham Pulse, LondonPeckham Pulse is a ground breaking new £14 million sports and health centre in South London, the centre, which represents a flagship of the Government's Healthy Living Strategy. Planning Solutions Limited won the contract to operate the catering activities within the centre including the main outlet, which is branded as The Pulse Cafe. Planning Solutions Limited's role included the design and fit-out of this area. We also established the service standards and menu production which is geared specifically towards healthy living. A strong emphasis is placed on information and education for healthy diets and liaison with health professionals based at the Pulse. Planning Solutions Limited also caters for between 300-350 children at parties per month which are held at the Centre. The Centre is fully accessible for disabled persons. |
